Linux Build

Please note that all the steps under all sections are necessary in order to properly run AgentSlang.

General Information

  1. Install Java. Please note that Oracle JDK 1.7.x is preferred. OpenJDK may have some performance issues
  2. Install ZeroMQ. Follow the tutorial at: http://www.zeromq.org/intro:get-the-software Recommended version: zeroMQ 3.2.x
  3. Install Java ZMQ: http://www.zeromq.org/bindings:java
    Recommended version: https://github.com/zeromq/jzmq
    ! Important ! The new ZeroMQ jar is in /usr/local/share/java/zmq.jar
  4. Install Ant: http://ant.apache.org/
    Linux, Debian, Ubuntu: use the package manager of your platform.
    ! NOTE ! Ant Contrib may be required to be installed separately!

MyBlock

  1. Release MyBlock:
    execute: ant release
    After release, two jars are created. MyBlock-latest.jar can be used.
    Copy the MyBlock-latest.jar to the lib directory

Syn!bad

  1. Release Syn!bad
    execute: ant release
    After release, two jars are created. Synnbad-latest.jar can be used.
    Copy the Synnbad-latest.jar to the lib directory

AgentSlang

  1. Release AgentSlang:
    execute: ant release
  2. To run platform:
    execute: ./start.sh
